"Woken up by the reality of life, Cold Showers is a dialogue on trust issues, abandonment, and overcoming obstacles in my day-to-day in order to make ends meet. Having moved to a new city (Toronto), I found myself flustered by the vastness of the concrete jungle. I was also heavily influenced by Drake's sound off of CLB, and his previous works, so I wanted to make this album an homage to him for inspiring me to make music in the first place."
